Welcome to RAW 96.9. By accessing or using our website, mobile app, or internet radio station (collectively “the Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree, you should not use RAW 96.9.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using RAW 96.9 means you agree to follow these rules. If you break them, we can suspend or end your access.

2. Use of the Service

RAW 96.9 is for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise approved in writing.

You agree not to:

  • Upload or submit illegal, hateful, defamatory, or obscene content.

  • Harass or abuse our staff, artists, or other listeners.

  • Hack, disrupt, or exploit the Service in any way.

3. Content Ownership & Copyright

  • All music broadcast on RAW 96.9 is covered under our streaming licenses (via Live365 or equivalent).

  • If you submit content (songs, podcasts, ads, artwork, etc.), you keep ownership of your work.

  • By submitting, you grant RAW 96.9 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

    • Broadcast and stream your content on RAW 96.9 and associated platforms (website, app, social media).

    • Use portions of your content in station promos, ads, and marketing.

Your Responsibility: You confirm you own the rights or have proper licenses for what you submit. No uncleared samples, stolen beats, or unauthorized works. Any legal claims tied to your submission are your responsibility — not RAW 96.9’s.

4. Artist Submissions

  • Submitting music does not guarantee airplay.

  • All submissions will be reviewed by station management for approval.

  • Music may be rejected for any reason (quality, content, format, etc.).

  • Explicit music must be labeled; clean/radio-friendly versions are encouraged.

  • Acceptable formats: MP3, WAV, or other standard digital files.

  • RAW 96.9 may archive your submission and re-broadcast it in future segments or playlists.

  • This license continues unless you request removal in writing.

Royalties:

  • RAW 96.9 does not pay upfront for submissions.

  • We report plays to performing rights organizations (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, SoundExchange, etc.).

  • Royalties are paid through your chosen PRO or publishing administrator (Songtrust, TuneCore, CD Baby, etc.).

  • RAW 96.9 takes no cut of your royalties.

5. Podcast & Show Hosts

  • RAW 96.9 does not charge hosts to air their shows.

  • Hosts are not paid by RAW 96.9 unless a separate written agreement exists.

  • Hosts may secure their own sponsors and keep 100% of that revenue.

  • All show content must be approved by station management.

  • Hosts are fully responsible for legal compliance (music licensing, copyrights, defamation, etc.).

6. Advertising & Sponsorship

  • All advertising content must be approved by RAW 96.9.

  • Advertisers are responsible for the truth and legality of claims made in ads.

  • RAW 96.9 reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisement at our discretion.

7. Privacy & Data

  • RAW 96.9 collects limited personal data (emails, submissions, contest entries, analytics).

  • We use this to improve the station and engage with listeners.

  • RAW 96.9 does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

8. Disclaimers

  • RAW 96.9 is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, specific results, or error-free operation.

  • We are not responsible for outages, technical issues, or content created by users, hosts, or advertisers.

9. Limitation of Liability

RAW 96.9, its owners, affiliates, and staff are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service.

If you don’t like the music, the vibe, or the jokes — that’s not on us.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, break the law, or harm the station, its artists, or its community.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of RAW 96.9 means you accept the updates.
